| Ladies of St. Anne |
 |
The Ladies of St. Anne is the Catholic women's club of the parish. Members meet to pray the Novena to Saint Anne on Saturday mornings after the 8:00 Mass. They attend Mass as a group on the first Sunday of each month at 9:00, and they sponsor the annual Novena to Saint Anne in July.
The Ladies meet once a month for general business and to enjoy one another's company socially. The Ladies of Saint Anne support the parish in a number of ways. They provide the altar hosts and take care of the candles in church. The Ladies of Saint Anne raise money for the parish as well as for The House of the Good Shepherd, a shelter for battered women and children, by sponsoring activities such as bazaars, card & bunco parties, bake sales, etc.

| Legion of Mary |

The Legion of Mary is a movement of lay people who endeavor to live the gospel message of Jesus. The object of the Legion of Mary is the glory of God through the holiness of its members developed by prayer and active co-operation in Mary's and the Church's work.
There are four groups, including one for children, that meet regularly in the convent. They meet for prayer and to offer support to one another in the various acts of kindness and evangelization that is the Church's work.

| Friendship Club |

The Friendship Club is a club for Seniors (young at heart). The group is a social gathering where members play cards, bunco, pray together, chat, and share a snack. The group meets every Monday except the first Monday of each month. To join the club simply come to a meeting at the convent on Monday.

| St. Ferdinand School Board |
 |
The St. Ferdinand School Board consists of nine appointed/elected registered parishioners as well as the principal, pastor and business manager who serve as ex-officio non-voting members. Each appointed/elected member serves a term of three years.
The board has four standing committees: finance, policy, public relations/planning and nominating, as well as committees to oversee the annual school raffle and the school's service program. It is the responsibility of the board to develop and establish school policies, assist the principal and pastor in preparing and reviewing the annual school budget, publicize and promote the school, collaborate with the pastor in the hiring of the administrator and communicate with the parents and parish regarding the school.
The board meets at 7:30 p.m. on the third Wednesday of each month in Heeney Hall. For more information regarding the school board, please contact the school office or the chairperson of the school board.

| Family & School Association |

The Family & School Association provides social and educational activities for St. Ferdinand students and their families. Meetings and activities are held monthly throughout the school year. For more information, contact the main school office.

| Scouts |
 |
St. Ferdinand has an active scouting program open to all boys and girls from kindergarten through high school. Meetings are held in homes and in the convent on various days.
Parents interested in the scouting program for their child(ren) should call the Parish Office and leave their name and phone number. One of the Scout coordinators will return your call.

| Athletic Board |

St. Ferdinand's Athletic Board is a volunteer committee dedicated to promote sports and sports related activities for the students of St. Ferdinand School. These programs provide positive life learning skills of being a team member and being gracious at winning or losing. At this time the programs offered are Traveling Basketball for Girls and Boys grades 4th - 8th, Cheerleading for Girls 5th - 8th grades, and Intramural Basketball for Girls and Boys grades 4th - 8th. When coaches are available we offer Girls Volleyball, Girls Softball, Boys Baseball, and Track and Cross Country for boys and girls.

| Polish Rosary Group |

The Rosary Group is under the patronage of the Virgin Mary in St. Ferdinand Parish. It came into existence on January 10, 1995. There are 3 female and 2 male groups.
Every 2nd Sunday of each month they meet to pray the Rosary, and also participate at Mass. They pray for all the intentions received for the parish and for the needs of the people from the parish.
After Mass they meet in McManus Hall for reflection and breakfast.

| Polish Club of the Good Shepherd |

The Polish Club of the Good Shepherd is an organization that provides spiritual, cultural, social and ethnic interaction in the Polish language for all ages within the St. Ferdinand community.

| Polish Highlanders |

Cultivating traditions from Tatra Mountains and devoted to Our Lady of Ludzmierz, St. Ferdinand Polish Highlanders create a beautiful and welcoming dimension of folk costumes and music within the fabric of our Catholic community.
Members of the Highlanders support St. Ferdinand parish by their presence at various parish events, by doing good works for those in need, and they support the sanctuary of Our Lady of Ludzmierz.

| Candle ladies |

There is a group of very dedicated parishioners who come to the church very early in the morning to clean the vigil lights and replace the candles. There is always room for more willing volunteers to join the ranks of the Candle Ladies. No experience necessary. Will train. Anyone interested in joining this ministry - Men, too - should leave a message at the Parish Office, or speak with any of the Candle Ladies before the 7:00 a.m. Mass during the week.

| Cantors |

With so many weekend Masses we are always in need of Cantors. Training is available. The ability to read music is necessary, along with a special love for the liturgy. All ages are welcome! Anyone interested in becoming a cantor should leave their name and phone number at the Parish Office, or may speak with the music director in person after Mass.

| Chapel choir |
 |
The Chapel Choir is a volunteer group of parish singers and musicians who lead music for the regular 10:30 Sunday liturgy in the Chapel and other events using a variety of music styles and instrumentation. The group rehearses each Sunday morning in the Chapel.
Anyone interested in joining the Chapel Choir should leave their name and phone number at the Parish Office, or may see the choir director in person after the 10:30 Mass.

| "Serduszka" Polish Children's Choir |
 |
The choir is composed of children from the Polish Catholic Saturday School ranging in age from 7-13 years. In 1996 and in 1998 Serduszka was awarded 1 st place for their performance during the Polish Sacred Song Festival in Poland. In April of 1998 the group was invited to compete in the 3 rd International Children's Festival of Sacred Songs in Poland. The choir proudly sang its way right into 1 st Place.

A singing group of Polish children between 3 and 5-6 years old. Rehearsals are in the music room in the school on Wednesdays.

We are very proud of both our parish Serduszka and Kropeczki children's choirs. Each have two CDs recorded, which are available for purchase from the parish Sisters or at the Polish School.

| Laudamus |
 |
The Laudamus group works to evangelize the community by bringing young adults to Jesus Christ, and sharing His good news. The group meets every Sunday evening at 7:30. They participate in a vigil that includes Mass on the third Saturday of each month from 8:00 p.m. until Midnight.
The Laudamus music group meets every Thursday in Heeney Hall from 8:00-10:00 p.m.

| Christian Out Reach |

This is a group of volunteers who help residents of our neighborhood and parish community who, for various reasons, may find themselves unable to manage certain activities of daily living, or who need help with specific problems. Services include visiting and telephoning the sick, home-bound and bereaved; sending get-well cards to the hospitalized and sympathy cards after the death of a spouse to the remaining spouse; grocery shopping; transportation to area medical appointments; helping with home chores and home health care; lending sick-room equipment; advocating for health, social welfare and legal services. Volunteers with skills in professional areas (such as social services, counseling, nursing, law) also offer time and talent when needed. Volunteer time commitment is flexible.
COR has been of service to the St. Ferdinand community since February, 1974. We've been around for a long time - there's always something to do, and there's much more to do to help others.
There are no monthly meetings - everyone is welcome to call the COR office (622-9732) for any more information. We hope YOU will call!

| Ministry of Care |
 |
A minister of care is mandated by the parish to bring Holy Communion to Catholic patients at Our Lady of the Resurrection Medical Center, and also to the homebound of our parish.
Candidates for the ministry must be approved by parish staff and training takes place at St. Ferdinand. Possible candidates must be at least 18 years of age, and must be fully initiated and practicing Roman Catholics. Anyone interested in learning more about ministers of care should contact the Parish Office and leave their name and phone number with the secretary. You will be contacted by the coordinator of Ministers of Care to the Hospital or the coordinator of Ministers of Care to the Homebound.
